Broken Hart Ranch
BROKEN HART RANCH offers some of the finest outdoor recreational activities to be found in the Northwest. There are Backcountry Pack Trips, Fishing, Horseback Riding, and Wagonrides to name a few.
The Broken Hart Ranch is conveniently located 16 miles southwest of Bozeman on an all weather highway. If you are driving, take U.S. 191 west out of Bozeman on the same route leading to the town of West Yellowstone and Yellowstone National Park.

Four commercial airlines -- Delta, Northwest, United and Horizon fly regular flights into Gallatin Field which is just six (6) miles from Bozeman. We will meet you on arrival, or rental cars are available at the airport. Also, several motels in Bozeman offer free airport pick-up and delivery service.

Arrive early or stay a few extra days after your hunt to enjoy a multitude of local special interests. Visit Yellowstone National Park, fish nearby blue ribbon trout streams (Gallatin, Madison, Yellowstone rivers), or tour Lewis & Clark Caverns, the historic Madison Buffalo Jump, or Virginia City (mining ghost town). Two local ski resorts are usually open by Thanksgiving.

Get the true meaning of "Jingle Bells" by dashing through the snow on a Broken Hart Ranch sleigh ride! We have teams of well trained horses that pull our sleighs through fields of sparkling snow under star-filled skies. while you sit on bales of straw sipping hot chocolate. This classic winter activity will enhance your Christmas or ski vacation to Montana. If there isn't enough snow, that's not a problem either. Our teams pull hay wagons just as easily as a sleigh. Call (406-763-4279) or e-mail us today to find out more about this time-honored tradition.

At the Broken Hart Ranch, we're proud of our beautiful state and would love to share it with you. We offer guided trail rides through the Gallatin National Forest, predominately through the Spanish Peaks Wilderness area. We also ride through adjacent drainages along the Yellowstone/Gallatin River Divide. These rides offer the opportunity to see wildlife, wild flowers, mountain lakes, hidden waterfalls and countless other surprises. All of our horses are gentle and well broke and used to carrying riders with varying degrees of experience (or lack thereof!). Our guides are professional, safety trained and knowledgeable about local flora and fauna and will make your experience educational and safe as well as fun.

Our two hour rides take us out around the ranch area and give you the chance to get on a horse and see a sweeping view of the Gallatin Valley. Our half and full day rides and overnight pack trips give you the best opportunity to see some of the mountain secrets of Montana. The longer you ride, the more beauty you'll see. Call us today at (406)763-4279 or email us to book one of these rides or for more information. At the Broken Hart Ranch, you can be assured of a first class ride. Just don't forget your camera!
